VI TIME Economic Forum
How to introduce Poland into the club of highly developed countries? Are Smart Grids, mobile Internet, Internet of Things and Smart a vision for the coming decade?? How to rationally manage in digitization process? Among other things, these issues have been addressed on March 3, 2014., during the VI Time Economic Forum, organized by the Polish Chamber of Commerce for Electronics and Telecommunications.
The Time Economic Forum provides a neutral platform for exchanging experiences and for discussion on the development of the new technology market in Poland and abroad.
As part of this year’s Forum we’d identified the most promising ways to simulate the economy and to increase GPD growth full exploitation of the potential of innovation for the development of Smart Civilisation product and services.
The main topics discussed during the Forum were:
1. Technological convergence as the basis for the development of Smart-class products, networks and services.
2. Business and technology transformation in the power sector, as a prerequisite for rational development of electric motoring and dispersed renewable energy sources:
- Integrated planning for extension and reconstruction of network infrastructure at the level of transmission, distribution and access;
- Use of ICT tools in the development of the Demand Management System;
- Mobile Internet and the Internet of Things – the tools for data transmission in Smart Grids;
- Support mechanisms for investments in Smart Grids and renewable energy source
3. Energy storage – the key innovation that will determine the directions for the development of motoring and new power.
